Surrounded my Mamores, Kinlochleven village is a great base for many hillwalkers and only a short drive to the mighty Glencoe.
Callart Green provides a cozy base for any hill walkers out there with an abundance of Munro’s on the doorstep and many high and low level walks to choose from. Kinlochleven is also a popular stopover for those doing the West Highland Way and many sections of the walk can be accessed from the village. Walk Highlands is a great website to visit for more information on the many walks in the area.
In and around the village – There are many short scenic walks around the village such as Greymare’s Waterfall and the Mamore Lodge Loop. Or if you fancy a longer trek, there’s the walk to Blackwater Reservoir or take you pick from one of the many Mamore mountains which surrounds the village. See www.walkhighlands.co.uk for more information on local walks, some of our particular favourites are: Lochan Trails, Glencoe, The Lost Valley, Glencoe, Steel Falls, Glen Nevis, The Pap of Glencoe & the Buachaille.
